Sekhem Workshop

Sekhmet Sekhem Workshop (Goddess and Vibrational Healing Intunement)
Sunday, 1 April 2012
10:00 until 16:00
CHIRINKA Natural Therapies, 30/B Glenmorgan St Brunswick East VIC 3057

What is Sekhmet Sekhem?

Sekhmet Sekhem is channeled vibrational healing energy direct from:

The Goddess Sekhmet

Sekhmet Sekhem (sek-kem) comes from the Egyptian word SekHem which translated into English means “Power of Powers”.

Sekhem is an ancient and sacred healing energy that the Ancient Egyptians used and were taught in the temples of Ancient Egypt. It is an advanced form of hands on healing which utilises sounds and symbols. It is said Sekhem is the parent Energy of all hands on healing systems.
Although ancient in its essence, in modern times Sekhmet Sekhem is much more than simply a hands on healing technique. Its power can help you connect to deity and can be used an insightful healing method.

What can Sekhmet Sekhem be used for?

Sekhmet Sekhem can be used for the following benefits:

Mind: Assists in clearing the mind of unbalanced thought forms and helps break down and release mental blocks.

Body: Promotes the body’s own internal mechanisms of healing, whilst assisting with relaxation and therefore pain management.

Spirit: Helps you unite to Sekhmet; as a universal connection is established and anchored during intunements.

Emotion: Stabilises the emotions while helping move blockages. It allows an individual to take ownership of health through active acknowledgement.

Sekhmet Sekhem is a never-ending source of pure healing energy, which you can tap into at any time.

What will the workshop include?

This workshop is a one day course which will encompass:

*Where Sekhmet Sekhem originated from: history and modern interpretation.

*Sekhmet as an archetype: working with her and her titles.

* Sekhmet Sekhem used as a vibrational healing modality.

*Sekhmet prayers, hymns and evocations.

Juno Covella: Lupa

Lawrence Durdin-Robertson, "Juno Covella" has this entry for Valentine's Day: "Roman: LUPA (Whistler, English Festivals, p. 90) “St. Valentine’s Day, February 14th … Like the candles of Candlemas, recently gone by, it comes to us by direct descent from the Lupercalia of pagan Rome ... It was about the middle of the month that the names of willing young ladies were put in a box and well shaken up,... so that each young blood could draw out one at random; the girl thus won to remain his companion while the gaieties lasted ... centuries passed and still the lottery for girls continued ... ‘It is a ceremony never omitted among the Vulgar’, wrote Bourne in 1725, ‘to draw lots which they term Valentines. The names of a select number of one sex are by an equal number of the other put into some vessel; and after that, everyone draws a name, which for the present is called their Valentine, and is also look’d upon as a good omen of their being man and wife afterwards’.

Two Important Announcements from Olivia Robertson

Greetings Everyone!

Two important announcements from Olivia Robertson regarding the work of teaching centres (Iseums, Lyceums, Groves, Priories) within the Fellowship of Isis:

For All Global Centres
From Olivia Robertson
FOI Co-Founder

There are those who founded teaching centres within the Fellowship of Isis before coursework, guidelines and regulations were implemented. In those years between their founding and the production of guidelines, regulations and courses, these centres have brought through others, who have founded their own centres, and in turn, teach in the same format. The question arose - are they valid? ALL training courses are valid. ALL centres have autonomy. Regulations and procedures are provided as guidelines, they are meant as suggestions. The ONLY basic requirements are teaching centres base their work on the F.O.I. Manifesto and the F.O.I. Liturgy. The Candidate using rites suggested in the coursework most helpful to his or her own chosen Path. The College of Isis being the exception, as guidelines were laid out upon the revival of the College as inspired by Isis.

Athena: Coursework
By Olivia Robertson

“The Queen’s regulations are handrails, not handcuffs.” - General Sir Lawrence Parsons, grandfather of Lawrence Durdin-Robertson and Olivia Robertson. He burnt mounds of red tape in his day!

When members founded Lyceums, Iseums, Groves and Priories they did so in the understanding that their work, based on the F.O.I. Manifesto, had validity!

Since 1976 there have been many lists of requirements and regulations for the courses of various centres. However, the requirement for acceptance of the Manifesto is the only basic necessity to unite us all. Regulations multiply which is the usual order of Societies! As Lawrence Durdin-Robertson was wont to remind us: “In the beginning of Christianity, all members were called Saints. Now you need to have performed two miracles and to be dead to qualify!”

The time has come to be free from secrecy, binding vows and inflexible rules! Any coursework should be available to all sincere seekers. This is essential to preserve the ethical validity required by the Goddess Isis of Truth for her Fellowship.

Signed, Olivia Robertson

The Convocation starts Friday evening, October 7 and ends on Monday afternoon, October 10. Loreon has been hostess of the FOI Convocation at Geyserville since 1990.
